Kalayaan Family Fun Day 2026 is in the books—and what a day it was!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the organizers, sponsors, volunteers, supporters, and our wonderful Filipino community for making this year's celebration such a memorable success. Your energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to community made the day truly special.

Our energetic performance of "Piliin Mo ang Pilipinas"
Beyond our own activities, we enjoyed everything the day had to offer—from local vendors and delicious food to children's activities, talented performers, and the opportunity to reconnect with friends and make new connections.
It may have been a hot day under the Georgia sun, but the warmth of our community, the dedication of our volunteers, and the pride we share in our Filipino heritage made every moment worthwhile.
More importantly, this event exemplified the mission and goals of PNAGA. As the professional organization of Filipino-American nurses in Georgia, we are committed to fostering the professional and personal development of our members while promoting harmonious relationships through social, civic, and educational endeavors.
Kalayaan Family Fun Day provided an opportunity to bring that mission to life. We united Filipino-American nurses from across Georgia, collaborated with community organizations, increased the visibility of our profession, and participated in programs that addressed the healthcare needs of our community through health screenings, first aid services, and CPR education. At the same time, we strengthened friendships, built new connections, and celebrated the culture that brings us together.
Events like these remind us that PNAGA is more than a professional organization—it is a community of nurses dedicated to service, leadership, lifelong learning, and cultural pride.
As we celebrate another successful year, we are already looking forward to next year's festivities. We hope to see even more families, friends, community partners, and supporters join us as we continue to celebrate our culture, serve our community, and create lasting memories together.
