From immigrating to the United States at 13 to pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of North Georgia, her journey is a powerful example of resilience, determination, and compassion. Guided by the Filipino value of “Pag may tiyaga, may nilaga,” she has transformed challenges into motivation to succeed.
Through her clinical experience at Northside Hospital Forsyth and volunteer work with Georgia Mountain Food Bank, she continues to demonstrate a heart for service and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

Carolyn Madrid, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is an exceptional nurse leader whose impact extends far beyond clinical practice. As a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner, she provides compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care while consistently improving health outcomes for the patients she serves.
Beyond her clinical role, she currently serves as Vice President of the Philippine Nurses Association of Georgia, where she has helped lead community health initiatives, educational programs, and outreach efforts that expand access to care and support professional development among Filipino nurses.
Through health screenings, volunteer service, and mentorship of aspiring nurses, Carolyn exemplifies leadership, service, and clinical excellence.
